Telephony Evv Locator App

Section 12006(a) of the 21st Century Cures Act mandates that states implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all Medicaid personal care services. EVV implementation requires that visit start and end times are electronically verified either through the use of 1) a land line telephony system, or 2) a GPS coordinate.

The EVV Locator app is an Android and iOS app that works with the CareComplete telephony system. Data collected by the EVV locator is anonymous and does not store any personal information other than the employee’s id number.

The EVV Locator app is only required when using a client mobile telephone to clock in or out with Telephony.
